Travelers, athletes and adventurists alike will be able to replenish and rehydrate their bodies, all while going green. Liberty Bottles, crafted from 100 percent recycled aluminum, are the only water bottles made entirely in America. These BPA-free bottles are crafted by American workers in a re-purposed boat factory in Yakima, Wash. It doesn’t get much greener than that.

The company feels a strong sense of environmental stewardship, hoping to lead by example. These design-driven bottles feature the artwork of well-known athletes and artisans, with proceeds benefiting the charity of the artist’s choosing.

For example, Lynsey Dyer, Powder Magazine’s Female Skier of the Year and active humanitarian, designed a line of these the bottles with artwork taken from well-known athletes and artisans. This 27-year-old, who has won every big-mountain competition she’s entered, is not designing water bottles simply for art’s sake. The proceeds from the bottles go to SheJumps, the non-profit she helped start to encourage women to become more active outdoors.

These on-the-go environmentally friendly bottles make the perfect addition to a backpack or suitcase when exploring or traveling, and honor Mother Earth. Liberty Bottles can be purchased at Whole Foods, REI and specialty outdoor retailers.  They can also be purchased online.  Bottles range from $16 to $18 and can be shipped anywhere in the U.S. for three bucks. Take these BPA-free, eco-friendly bottles designed by artists and made in the USA on your next adventure.
