HOTEL BUZZ: W Times Square, NYC

W Times Square debuts a $2 million renovation to its Extreme WOW Suite.

The new W New York – Times Square EWOW suite offers guests the ultimate party pad fifty stories over the heart of Times Square. Designed with the playful sophistication of New York City at night in mind, the Extreme WOW (EWOW) suite provides a voyeuristic view of the city that never sleeps.

Inside, the two-bedroom suite feels like a glam disco. There is even a deconstructed interpretation of the iconic Times Square New Year’s Eve ball that’s been turned into a custom, mirrored LED light fixture on the ceiling. Guests can pump up the lighting with varying elements from day to night. The EWOW Suite is designed for both overnight guests and an event space, so it’s not surprising to find a table that doubles as a DJ booth and rises hydraulically to become a bar for in-room entertaining.

Other highlights include silver plated leather sofas, a circular bed with pillows made out of old ticket stubs that faces the New York City skyline, a strobe floor lamp, and hanging egg chairs.

The EWOW Suite costs $4500 a night for overnight guests. If you want it as an event space, the price jumps to $7500. Book here.

Sadly there is a dark side to travel and in Bali the cruel dog meat trade is alive and well, PLEASE SIGN & SHARE and do what you can to end this hideous practice. Knowledge is power and tourism dollars matter a great deal to many of the countries that engage in animal cruelty so don't be fooled by many of the zoos and temples that use animals to lure you in and as a result suffer miserable lives... or worst, as below. Thank you! :(
