Mexico Travel Warning Lifted

With the U.S. State Department downgrading its warning against non-essential travel to Mexico to a precaution, fears over the swine flu are fading. Even the Centers for Disease and Prevention lifted its travel warning, except for high risk travelers (pregnant women, children under 5, elderly or anyone with an underlying health issue).  The CDC website says that the “risk of severe disease” from the H1N1 virus “now appears to be less than originally thought.”

In an effort to lure back travelers, hotels are offering drastically reduced rates. So unless you are a high risk traveler, now is a great time to take advantage of these deals in Mexico.
