Halfway between Salt Lake City and Reno, you’ll find a hidden sanctuary with 200,000 ski-able acres and access to more than 3,000 vertical feet where skiers and riders alike can find fresh tracks and pristine landscapes for some serious carving. Now in its 33rd year, Ruby Mountain Heli-Experience transports enthusiasts into this back country of Lamoille Canyon for a three-day trip with lodging at Reds Ranch, the private retreat nestled at the foot of the Ruby Mountains, also known as Nevada’s, “Little Yosemite.” The refined hunting lodge has an intimate feel with 10 suites, billiard room, pool and jacuzzi for post powder relaxation.

During the week of March 25th, Ruby Mountain Heli has raised the ski adventure bar, offering a 5-day trip that adds two days of skiing at Snowbird prior to the heli-skiing extravaganza at no additional cost. Warm up with a little champagne pow and a few tram rides to the giant shutes of the Bird, in the heart of Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Little Cottonwood Canyon. To cap off the trip, enjoy 3-days of heart thumping heli-skiing with profession guides and shred your brains out.

The five-day excursion runs $4,100. The getaway includes five-nights’ accommodations (Reds Ranch and The Cliff Lodge), gourmet meals, three days of helicopter-accessed skiing with professional guides and lift passes for two days at Snowbird.
