We all know this is the time of year when cooking for friends and family can be a giant headache, but it doesn’t have to be. Just two hours from LA at the Roblar Winery & Vineyards, it’s downright fun and delicious! Learn to cook and make new friends at the same time by taking a class taught by a guest chef, followed by a three-course gourmet meal served family style at a long rectory table amongst the wine presses. Choose from Italian classes with Leonardo Curti, French with Laurence Hauben, Indian with Chef Nimita and Greek with Stellios Nicolaides. (See website for calendar details). Alternatively, gather 12-30 of your friends, family or coworkers and enjoy a cooking class and dinner that is custom tailored for your group. This is a great way to celebrate the holidays, a birthday or any special occasion. Sure beats hanging around the water cooler and can help ease some of those difficult conversations with the in-laws by giving them something fun to do. Best of all, there is no washing up!
Classes are offered on Saturday evenings from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Each class is limited to 24 seats and reservations are required. Cost per person is $145 per person all inclusive. Wine Club Members receive a 25% discount. When you reserve two or more seats to any cooking class, you’ll currently save 10%. Classes fill up fast and this offer will expire on Dec 31.
