In an attempt to eradicate hunger and poverty, Garnet Hill and Heifer International offer the Pass on the Gift® in Peru Sweepstakes, which will award a trip for two to the ancient Incan Empire capital of Cuzco, Peru.

One grand prize winner will be awarded an all-inclusive trip for two to Peru where they will experience the vibrant local culture and have an opportunity to participate in Heifer’s local alpaca project in the Andean region near Cuzco. This important initiative is designed to end poverty in the region and foster sustainable development.

For a week winners will eat and work with local families while learning how to feed and tend to alpacas, and help turn their wool into blankets and ponchos that are sold in markets.  The lucky two will also visit local sights and explore Machu Picchu on a guided tour.

The winner will also receive a $1,000 Garnet Hill gift card.

Additional Sweepstakes Details:

  • One Runner Up Prize: $1,000 Garnet Hill gift card
  • Five Weekly Prizes: $500 Garnet Hill Gift Card

Sadly there is a dark side to travel and in Bali the cruel dog meat trade is alive and well, PLEASE SIGN & SHARE and do what you can to end this hideous practice. Knowledge is power and tourism dollars matter a great deal to many of the countries that engage in animal cruelty so don't be fooled by many of the zoos and temples that use animals to lure you in and as a result suffer miserable lives... or worst, as below. Thank you! :(
