Use Frequent Flier Miles to Support HURRICANE SANDY Relief Efforts

Hurricane Sandy has caused devastation across the East Coast with an estimated 7.8 million people without power and many lives lost. For those who want to help but don’t know where to begin, several airlines are allowing you to put your un-used miles to work for the American Red Cross. Multiple charitable-mile agreements have been arranged by The Red Cross, so you can donate your miles to help volunteers and staff get to critical areas. By donating, you can help provide relief to victims of this disaster.

Here is a list of airlines that have charitable mile agreements with the Red Cross. If you would like to donate your frequent flyer miles to the Red Cross, please contact your airline.

Continental Airlines

Continental’s frequent flyers may donate their OnePass miles online by visiting the airline’s web site (now United Airlines).

Or, customers may make a donation by phone by calling 1-800-428-4322 (choose option 3 to speak with a customer service representative).
