Carson Valley Inn Welcomes Flying Elvi

You might recall them as a highlight of the Nic Cage/Sara Jessica Parker romantic comedy “Honeymoon in Vegas”—a parachuting pack of airborne Elvi, winging into Las Vegas. The Flying Elvi, ten lambchop side-burned impersonators of The King, will be descending upon the Carson Valley Inn & Casino this Monday, August 9th to celebrate the 26th birthday bash of this local favorite in Minden, Nevada.

After packing up their parachutes, the Elvi team, also musicians, will do a quick show in the parking lot and then perform some more in the Carson Valley Inn’s Cabaret Lounge.  The festivities continue on Tuesday, August 10 with drawings for helicopter rides, free cake and champagne and cash drawings.

Set at the foothills of the stunning Sierra Madre Mountains, the resort lies twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe’s South Shore and 45 minutes south of Reno. So put on your blue suede shoes and head on over for the celebration.
