This weekend, the Fourth Annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine will continue its reign as the premier West Coast culinary event. The four-day celebration (April 28 through May 1) assembles a wealth of talent, with more than 70 prominent chefs, 250 acclaimed wineries and distinguished winemakers from around the world traveling to the iconic Pebble Beach Resorts for a first-class display of epicurean splendor and unrivaled access.

A few of the renowned chefs scheduled to make an appearance include Tom Colicchio, Charlie Trotter, Gary Danko, Guy Fieri, David Myers, Michel Richard and Jacques Pépin.  Guests enjoy cooking demonstrations led by these global culinary innovators and vertical tastings from the world’s top wine producers.

A foodie and oenophile’s dream, the 2011 Pebble Beach Food & Wine presents:

The Opening Night Reception: This indulgent Bubble Lounge features Champagne Krug, Champagne Dom Perignon, Champagne Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame, Champagne Ruinart and Moet & Chandon.

Tribute to and cooking demonstrations with Tom Colicchio:  One of America’s favorite “Top Chef” judges, this celebrated author, TV producer, well-known restaurateur and culinary icon will be honored at the event.

In addition, Jacques Pépin, a culinary master, prolific cookbook author and one of America’s best-known chefs, will dazzle guests with a culinary demonstration.

Seduction: A Love Affair Between Cheese & Wine With Laura Werlin and the Decadent Wines Of Domain Serene: Laura Werlin, one of the country’s foremost authorities on cheese and an award-winning author of four books on the subject, teaches guests how to get the most from pairings, all the while drinking the incomparable Oregonian cult grapes from Domaine Serene.

Dan Dunn’s Booze, Blues & BBQ: Sip superbly crafted cocktails while nibbling barbecue and being entertained by this author and master mixologist.

Insignia An Interactive Lesson in Blending: Discover your inner winemaker with Insignia’s own Ashley Hepworth.  One of the most iconic, critically acclaimed wines from Joseph Phelps, Insignia is a label trusted for quality and character. Starting with the same basic components available to winemaker Hepworth, guests are invited to see if they can produce a wine that is equally compelling, delightful and discerning as the Insignia blend.

Pebble Beach Golf ResortThe Celebrity Chef Golf Tournament: After snacking on bubbly and lobster rolls (the real breakfast of champions), chefs such as Michael Symon, Sherry Yard, Ming Tsai, Iron Chef Morimoto, Tim Love and Tyler Florence will drive, chip and putt their way along the most famous golf course in America.

The Grand Finale Dinner: A compelling triumvirate will share the kitchen for the first time to create a memorable final meal.  Charlie Trotter of Charlie Trotter’s in Chicago, Michel Richard of Citronelle in Washington DC and Gary Danko of Restaurant Gary Danko in San Francisco will create a six-course masterpiece paired with Château de Beaucastel, Château Palmer and Château d’Yquem.
