Quasar Expeditions' 4×4 PATAGONIA Driving Adventure

Explore Patagonia’s stunning natural terrain behind the wheel of your own Jeep.

The luxury tour operator Quasar Expeditions has designed a new adventure for travelers looking to discover both Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia, including the famed Torres del Paine National Park, Los Glaciares National Park and the awe-inspiring Perito Moreno Glacier. The exploration begins in Puerto Natales, Chile where guests are given the keys to a road ready 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon complete with both a built-in GPS and an external, innovative GPS Ranger®, that acts as a type of tour-guide by calling out points of interest along the route and ensuring the pre-programmed hotels and destinations are reached each day.

Each of the trip’s eight days involves a one-to-four hour drive, where you can get behind the wheel of your own jeep, or be chauffeured by a local guide. Guests spend the days exploring the impressive surroundings with activities that include light hikes, sightseeing catamaran cruises, horseback riding and bird watching.  Nights are spent relaxing in luxury hotels like Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa and indulging in fine food and wines.

Pricing starts at $5200 per person per trip, based on four people in one vehicle driving themselves and increases from there depending on whether a driver or guide is required and how many people are in the vehicle.  For a couple, it is $5600 per person based on two people self-driving in one vehicle.
